hello and welcome to the farm!
and welcome sweet spring!
i thought you would enjoy a peek into our farm life
during the months we don’t see you...
during the months we don’t see you...
it feels like a perfect time to begin to share the farm with you here...
when the land holds such promise of growth and abundance...full of simple pleasures.

it’s beautiful!
spring is my absolute favourite season! i love everything about it!
the birds’ return, the longer days, the smell of earth,
the bulbs in my garden (i always forget where i planted them)
the bulbs in my garden (i always forget where i planted them)
finding eggs in nests, puddles, soakers, worms,
my kids’ birthdays, earth day, blossoms, a million shades of gentle green,
fragrant warm breezes, using my clothesline again...my list is pretty much endless!

spring ...a poem that lasts 92 days!
miss m and i went looking for pussy willows this week
...we were a titch early
look who else has been enjoying the farm!
even the birds’ nests look sweet
and so long long winter....
we were fortunate
the ice storm brought minimal damage
and made the farm look like a fairy tale...
after winter outstayed her welcome, i love this encouraging quote:
“no winter lasts forever, no spring skips its turn.” -hal borland
hello spring!
